Why Mom Mojo? As a 40 (something) year old childless woman, I have had years and countless opportunities to witness my sisters and many of my closest friends become mothers. It is a beautiful transition to witness and has been an honor for me! However, one trend that I have noticed is that many of these women become lost in the title of “Mom”. Multiple clients, friends, and relatives of mine have shared with me that between external expectations, internal drive to be the best damn mom ever, juggling of multiple priorities, etc. they lose track of themselves. Not only lose track- they put themselves so far on the backburner, it’s not even catching the idea of a flame. And when the children grow up and leave the house, this transition can be incredibly painful for a mom; a huge loss of sense of Self. Beth created Mom Mojo to help women maintain their sense of purpose and identity in the thick of things. Beth holds moms on a pedestal (just barely above dads), and wants to ensure that everyone, including moms, has the opportunity to stay in touch with their authentic Selves, because the better we take care of US, the best we can be for others.
